For graphic design students, the space in front of the printer is often one of the most stressful places, especially during deadlines. This work started from the idea of temporarily transforming this space into a moment of meditation. Meditation is usually thought to require a quiet environment, but I wondered whether meditation is really impossible in a noisy space. Because paper is the most common material around the printer, I created a paper ASMR video and installed it next to the printer. I recorded the reactions of people passing by to explore whether a place usually filled with noise and stress can become a moment of meditation and and how the sounds we normally perceive as noise can be experienced in a different way.
